Using the form builder as a shopping cart

On a paid account the form builder has the ability to accept payments.  This is helpful if you want to set up a small shopping cart and sell products on your site.  You are not limited in the number of products you can sell. Follow these instructions to sell products using this method:

How to:

  1. Add a Text Element to the area of the page that will contain the picture and description of the item.
  2. Use the text editor to upload an image of the item and add it to your text element. Put a description of the item next to the image.

  3. Add the Form Builder Element below the Text Element that contains the product image and description.
  4. Select Edit Form from the Form Element menu.
  5. Click the Form Settings tab.
  6. In the Form Name field, enter the name for the form.
  7. In the Description field, enter a brief description for the form.
  8. To receive email notification when a visitor submits the form, check the Email Notification box. and enter the email address in the field

  9. Click the Payment Settings button and click Enable Payments.
  10. Choose the Payment processor from the dropdown list.
  11. Enter your email address in the Email Address field.
  12. Choose the currency type from the Currency dropdown list.

    • Note: Leave the base price at 0 because you will allow visitors to purchase multiple size shirts from and the price for each is set separately.
    • Note: You can use PayPal or as the payment gateway.
  13. Click the Add Fields tab.

  14. Click each field to add it to the form. When you click a field, you will see it added to the form. Some of the most commonly used fields are:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Phone
    • Email Address
    • Check Boxes

  15. Click the Check Boxes field on the form to select it select it.

  16. On the Properties tab, enter the description for your product information in the Field Title field.

  17. Click the Choices tab and enter the name and price for each product.

  18. Click the Save Form button.

  19. You now have a small shopping cart for selling your product.
