Adding an event to your calendar.

  1. Go to the page that contains your Calendar element.
  2. Select Add Event from the Calendar element menu.
  3. Enter the information for the event.
  4. Enter a name for the event in the Name field. This name will be displayed on the calendar for users to click to view the event details.

  5. Enter a shortcut for the event in the Shortcut field. The shortcut is used to give your event an easy to remember direct address. For example if you make your shortcut “Annual Product Meeting”, then anyone can type “” to visit the page. This is useful for adding keywords to URLs for search engine marketing, traditional marketing, and creating easy-to-remember landing pages.

  6. Enter the date for the event in the Date field or click the calendar icon to select the date from the popup calendar.

  7. If the event repeats, such as a holiday, birthday, or weekly event check This event repeats, and you can specify the repeat frequency options.
  8. Specify the Start Time and End Time if any. The times will display on the event detail page. The times will display on the calendar summary if the calendar is configured to display it.

  9. To highlight the event with a specific color, choose the color from the Highlight Color dropdown list. Events are highlighted only for the Calendar style.

  10. Enter the details for this event in the Content field. The details can contain text, images, links, etc.
  11. Click the Add Event button to save the event.
